Journey to Change
The goals of the Journey to Change program are to assist individuals in examining their thought processes and to help them discover how errors in their thinking may lead them to act in an asocial, antisocial, or criminal manner. The Journey to Change program takes students through a process beginning with an examination of how beliefs, attitudes, and thinking patterns are exhibited in various aspects of life. Learning modalities include lecture, discussion, self-assessment, and prosocial skill development. Students have extensive opportunities to practice new skills and behaviors. Each module is designed to build on previous lessons.
The modules include: Getting Started, Stages of Change, Team Building, Stress Managment, Communication, Stress Management, Motivation, Think, Problem Solving, Anger Management, and Values.
